What is the book about? (write at least three sentences)
This book is about a famous Mexican revolutionary named Pancho Villa. He helped overthrow the Diaz government in the Revolution of 1910. His great contributions to the revolution were influential to Mexico and the Revolution of 1910. He and many other participants in the revolution ricked their lives and gave it their all to fight for their beliefs.
What was good about the book?
The book was pretty easy to read, with not that hard of language and vocabulary. It was very informative when it came to places and times, but there were many of them.
What was challenging about the book?
At times it was hard to keep up with the battle names and different revolutionists. The many locations and people I had not heard of before, and it was hard to differentiate them.
Would you recommend the book? Why or why not?
I would not recommend the book because I feel that there could be a book on someone more important and more interesting.

This book is about an abused young girl named Sheila who grows up in Mexico and is violent towards almost everyone. She starts off in Torey's classroom as a quiet but violent student, but grows to improve her education skills. Coming from her childhood and the way she was brought up, Sheila's improvements were very surprising for Torey and her students.
What was good about the book?
The book was very interesting and exciting. I looked forward to reading it and I actually enjoyed it very much.
What was challenging about the book?
What was challenging about the book was that it did not have much about Mexico in it. Although it did take place in Mexico, it did not say a lot about the country.
Would you recommend the book? Why or why not?
For the global studies project, I would not recommend this book because of its lack of information on Mexico. But i would definitely recommend this book for outside reading.
