What is the book about? (write at least three sentences)
This book follows the life of Alexander the Great. It tells his story from beginning to end, including valuable information about his family as well as his relationships. The book also contains important facts about previous successors and foreign affairs.
What was good about the book?
This book was very informational. I was able to read it and understand all of the key events in Alexander the Great’s life. It provided a timeline at the beginning as well as at the end to help summarize the book.
What was challenging about the book?
The only challenging aspect of the book was the length. It was frustrating at times to see how much I still had to read. However, it was full of great information.
Would you recommend the book? Why or why not?
I would recommend this book. Even though it was lengthy and slow at times, it helped me write a developed essay. I struggled to find other books on Alexander the great, but out of the few that I did find, this book proved to be the best. If you enjoy reading, this is the perfect book for you!

This book if about a man named Andreas Kladis who is sent to Mykonos, Greece to investigate a murder. The storyline switches between both Andreas’ perspective, and that of Annika, a young girl who becomes the killer’s next target. These horrible murders have been placed on the beautiful Greek backdrop to offset the disturbing homicides.
What was good about the book?
It held my attention from beginning to end, while providing many hidden facts about Greece. This book was entertaining and kept me on my toes, constantly trying to figure out what would happen next. However, this suspense was well-balanced with the great details that it provided about Greece’s landscape, people, and culture.
What was challenging about the book?
It was challenging at times to remember that the most important thing to look for when reading was facts about Greece. I kept finding myself getting lost in the enticing storyline. There were many hidden facts that at times, were difficult to pick out from the colorful text.
Would you recommend the book? Why or why not?
I would recommend this book because it is an entertaining storyline and also provides facts that can then be used to write the essay. Although the story was dark at some points, I found it to be an enjoyable novel.
