Zorba The Greek
For my Greek film I watched Zorba the Greek, directed by Mihalis Kakogiannis. Zorba
the Greek was released in 1964. This movie is about a Greek man named Alexis Zorba a miner
who runs into and English man named Basil a local coffee shop. After talking for a while basil
mentions that he has mining land on Crete once Zorba finds out Basil has mining land he quickly
asks Basil to employ him to mine his land. Basil agrees and they end up spending a long time in
Crete together, learn a lot about each other and become very good friends. I would
recommend this film to other people because it is a great and inspiring story.
