List three adjectives that describe this film
_____Captivating____ ___Suspenseful____ _____Intriguing____
What is the film about? (write at least three sentences)
This film is about two Danish resistance fighters during World War II who are
sent to assassinate Nazi officers. They work undercover to try and liberate their country
from the German invaders. These two men struggle to stay alive and support families
with their dangerous and brave job. The film follows these men as they discover secrets
about their organization and fight off Nazis.
What was good about the film?
There were many things about this film that I consider good, including the action
and development of characters. Their battles against Nazi soldiers are well-filmed
action scenes, as well as their chases of officers. I also enjoyed the development of one
of the resistance fighters’ relation with his wife as she is sent to Sweden to avoid the
fighting.
Would you recommend the film? Why or why not?
I would highly recommend this movie for several reasons. If you are interested in
Danish history or just World War II in general, then this movie will be very interesting.
This movie also will appeal to anyone who enjoys action and heroic battle scenes. The
deep characters combined with their skill in combat makes for characters and a film that
are appealing to most high school students.

Country: DenmarkName : Mike Durkin
Film Title: Copenhagen
Director: Howard Davies
Date Released: 2006
Scientific, Dry, Informative
The film is about 2 scientists, Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg, who meet up as ghosts in Copenhagen and discuss a previous conversation that they had. The previous conversation was about the ability to use nuclear power in World War II. The goal of the film was to discuss the possibility of that conversation leading up to Hitler's aquiring nuclear power.
The film was very informative about the history of the scientists and the science behind a nuclear reaction. Not very much information about Denmark though.
I would not recommend the film. I liked the film but it would not be a good choice for this project for future students
